repair facility, a 24-hour emergency towing service available,
and safe, reliable storage facilities to house your items, including climate-controlled
storage facilities.
We want to be your full-service shop, and we strive to offer exceptional customer
service and affordable prices on our repair service, towing rates and storage. We
perform all kinds of auto service and repair, from oil changes to rebuilding engines.
We are also an authorized State Inspection Station.
About Us
In 1981, Steve Thompson and Tom Hachey took over Arbo's after working there part-time.
Over the years, it has grown to seven trucks and a full-service repair shop for foreign
and domestic cars and light & medium duty trucks. In addition to their vehicle service
and towing business, Tom and Steve also started Thompson & Hachey Self-Storage, which
now has over 500 units in three locations in Waterville, Oakland, and Fairfield.

Arbo's also has special involvement with state and local police departments. Tom
and Steve both served on the Waterville P.D. before starting Arbo's, and have maintained
a close relationship with law enforcement. Arbo's donates time, money, and the
use of their facilities to help our officers.
For twenty years, Arbo's has also been donating dogs and money for K-9 Units to county
